Day 9 13/07

yoyo people! is me yours truly Zac reporting on duty.

Today is a very bad day for me. i late for class this time is 30 minutes!

We learnt about the sound controlling system (which i forgot the name) Baically is something which adjust the sound, remove those extra sound.

i mentioned about my facebook group profile picture right? there! on top of this page.

and one, the google map i have put on the link already is on the right hand side.

The map is about the Yamaha music outlets. You want to study music? or you want to play any music instructment? go there! i have put their outlets number too. For further information please call me. Don't call me.

i have made a big mistake for the facebook group logo. My friend andy told me this " your logo is very complicate and very hard to remember as in the details part"

i can list example like nike is a tick, addias is 3 lines logo

So i have mada a new one:

The concept is we are a bunch of people who love music like crazy and so do our heart that burns the passion of music. Hence i come out with this. Hope you guys can remember hard.

Day 8 11/07

Hello! everyone.

today the whole day i was thinking what i am going to do for my facebook group logo. Is about music definitely.

Using illustrator? i love it, but when doing the brainstorm really hurts my head. i got 3 different music note logo basically this is like the process of doing the logo. you can't just do one and that's it for the day.

Come on. You have to do more

So i am going to show you all

these 3 picture is like a improving process to me.

From all these 3 images i used the letter C to help me along hence i adjusted it a bit and i made a heart-like shape. The message that i want to bring out is since we are all music lovers for sure we have the heart that keeps the music roll, the passion, the love so first start off i used "red colour".

After that i found out the shape of image 1 turned out not that good. Therefore i used the other music note.

As you can see, they have the same shape but they are different sizes.

Lastly the third image is the best i think. i used different colour this time round to show music is BEAUTIFUL too. So i have chosen the 3rd image as my facebook group logo.

Tomorrow i am going to pose the lucking draw video on the facebook group and i almost done with my facebook group profile picture also the google map. Stay tune for more FUN!

Day 7 10/07

Sorry sorry

yesterday i didn't write blog because i was too tired due to the photoshooting of my facebook profile picture and also the google map.

i will talk more about thursday stuff.

We did illustrator again but this time round not just shapes or type on grid. We are creating simple interesting type, Shapes and Pathfinder.

when i was doing the "interesting type", i did wrongly for the first time because i forgot to duplicate the layer before i set the Stroke weight to 40 pts that step.

So i have to redo but after the previous lesson, all those struggling previously have make me improved. Somehow i did faster this time and then my work is done

i have difficulties on using the pentools to put the white part.

next's up is by creating simple tools using illustrator again

i have new thing which is the pathfinder, actually i find it very useful when comes to merging shapes together. i find this exercise is much more easier than the previous one. Below is my work by using the pathfinder and shapes.

Day 6 08/07

i learnt how to use illustrator and we have a few exercises(simple) these exercises make us familiar with the basic illustrator tools

Day 5 07/07

Another photoshop assignment again. i must admit Photoshop is going to be my closer friend because my assignment requires me. i hardly have time go out with friend instead company my friend photoshop :)

today i have done 2 new photoshop exercises. i learned about making curves by using pen tool. During class lesson we used a photo of Dali and his cat. i felt bad when i editing his face.

Day 4 06/07

YOYO!! i just came back from school. The whole process of making the lucky drawing video is quite funny. i didn't knew my voice was that girly!!! i have already picked out the winner but i will not give him/her the prize yet until the video is fully modify and post it on the facebook group.

i can tell you guys, is an totally unexpected winner. i got a feeling is him/her before i do this lucky draw. Maybe he/she pray everyday, thats why so how the luck always follow him/her not me :(

okay! Back to the work for today. Yoke had finally give us guide for Photoshop, i was so happy until she give us the 8 exercises.

All are short assignment, for those who already familiar with the photoshop they can like do it within 1 hour or maybe lesser. For a beginner like me, took me longer enough

this is the photo that i used, it was taken quite long ago when i was .. secondary 3.. slowly guess which 1 is me. this photo was taken in the train by the way. Next i'm going to choose a photo as the background to add effects on this group photo.

the photo which i used is the photo on the left (A picture of me and my friend jason). the spotlight is the main attraction hence i used the clon to actually cover up everything. Finally i put the 2 photos together. There you go! the Blur effect on the group photo. futher more if u look closer you will see the spotlight arrangement.

oh i almost forgot i left with the cropping picture.

I have made the brightness and contrast to the high limit.

What i want is to show people the differents.

Next up is photo editing which we will using a photo of the first female crew who reached outer space.

I did something very different from the instruction and below is my edited photo.

I added my face inside this photo and the tricky part is the skin colour adjustment. i have to keep on clonning the face colour of the people. the 2 members on the right, i added hair on their forehead too.

i have already tried my best. Sorry i just a rookie.

Day 3 04/07

hi everyone :) now my group" i can't live without music" is increasing everyday (THANK YOU!!). i have already chose the prize, the next thing i am going to do is the google map.

First of all, what am i going to show people about the map? is it
the places where the coming concert held in spore?
the places for people jamming?
the places where they sell music instruments in spore?

i heard from Yoke that this map can world wide which means the other countries can be include. i came out with an crazy thougths. i tried finding out the origin of the music culture, there are various type of music such as Metals, Rhythm & Blues (R&B), Hip-Hop, Rock and Roll, Classical, Jazz. As i dig the history like where is their origin and created by who.

Come to think of it, people will be interested where they(music) were from?even for me i will be left it aside and continue listening to my favourite music. So.. i still have no idea what to do for the map... ...

P/S. the lucky draw is on 06/07, i will be doing a Live video recording and post it on facebook. So.. see you.. tomorrow i am going to sing KTV! let me take a break first :)

Day 2 (03/07)

yoyo!! is friday!! no sch for today but need to do assignment. i was thinking is good that people get to know my group but i scare people might not be interested. therefore i added 1 prize
Today i went a bit shopping the whole day!! and i finally got it! :)

Day 1 (02/07)

Finally i got a blog but is for school work.. Today i knew about why we have to shorten the url of our my facebook link and we got application to help such as twitterdeck and tinyurl :)
at first i was thought twitter is just another replacement of facebook, but when we got our new assignment " create a blog and even use google map" everything is clear and everything is link!
Yoke had given some suggestion for my map, i can actually dig out the history of music history and the places where they were born. By the way there is a link to facebook group (i can't live without music) please do support me i'm a rookie :)
